Answer #1

Ans

It is not simply a cost saving technology.By using it firms can achieve economies of scale. But it can achieve in addition better quality of service. It leds to pooling of resouces. Joint bids, joint projects and endeavours are the result. For example in developing countries like India often telecom and electric engineering departments demage roads while taking new projects or while repairing already existing assets. This could be avoided by collaboration between these two departments and Roads and buildings department. ROADS will be better and people will feel comfortable while travelling . In the same way even in business sector and private firms collaboration can provide better service

Why does the NIMBY problem arise? Everyone wants quality, low-cost health care even though health care is inherently expensive. It is hard to predict where energy resources will be discovered. Citizens typically want governments to provide services to their neighborhoods but do not want to pay to provide services to others' neighborhoods. The costs of storing or disposing of hazardous waste are not equally distributed.
