Answer #1

There has been so little progress in Latin America because of the following reasons:

Unequal distribution of wealth

Drug trafficking

Internal conflicts and clashes in government

Poor role od government

In Latin America, there is a very serious problem of drug trafficking. This has made many people engaging in illegal activities and thus making black money. This has led to unequal distribution of wealth.

Also, internal conflicts in government of different states has led to increased confusions and clashes which hinders economic growth.

The government can best deal with this problem is by educating the youth and create awareness programs and increase its role and intervention in the economy.
