• Climate change has been described as the challenge of your generation and the principal threat facing human civilization so why has the international community has done little to address this clear and present danger?

Reasons why climate change has been neglected by the international community :
1. Lack of action from certain countries.

2. Most countries have not met their targets of emission ranges from different climate agreements,hence inherent failures.

3. Developing countries are generally given a better range to produce more emissions since they are developing per se, but it is the developed countries which should be cutting down on the emission levels and they are not in reality.

4. It has become a political matter internationally, where a lot of strings have to be pulled for successful negotiations related to climate change agreements and laws.
