Answer : Food waste means spoilage of the food due to mismanagement of the resources. There are various causes of food wastage i.e

  • At the time of agriculture production i.e losses due to spoilage,Due to poor crop harvest condition.
  • At the time of post harvest condition, it means that due to transportation issue between farms and distrubters.
  • At the purchase in the supermarket. Bulk of material has been purchased at once in a time and spoiled in the super market itself.
  • Wastage caused by individual at home level.
  • Wastage caused by Restaurants due to over preparation of food than required.
