How do income differences and social gradients impact health outcomes?

Homework Answers

Answer #1

Income inequality is identified with the rates of poorer wellbeing in various zones, from liquor inferable hospitalisations and passings, to kid wellbeing, to oral health. But health is not determined by absolute wealth.

Not every person has a reasonable go at living a long, sound and prosperous life. Individuals at the base of the social hierarchy have a tendency to have more terrible wellbeing than those in the center, who thus have poorer health than those at the best. There was indeed a link between income inequality and life expectancy across countries.

Therefore, Socioeconic status is also linked to prevalence and course of diseases. Individuals in lower social status groups have the highest rates of morbidity and mortality within most human populations
