2.How many grams of Br are in 155 g of CaBr2?
1.How many moles of ammonia (NH3) are in 68.5 g of the compound?
moles = W/Mw= 68.5/17 = 4.029mole
2.How many grams of Br are in 155 g of CaBr2?
CaBr2 wight = 199.88gm
CaBr2 moles = 155/ 199.88= 0.775moles
Ca moles = 0.775 , Br moles = 2 x 0.775= 1.55
bromine wt = moles x molar mass
= 1.55 x(159/2)
Br weight = 123.2g
