volume given = 600 mL convert in to liters = 600 / 1000 =0.6L

moles = 3 mol / L x 0.6 L = 0.18 mol

gram formula of sucrose

= 12 x C atomic mass + 22 x H atomic mass + 11 x oxygen atomic mass

= 12 x 12.0 g/mol + 22 x 1.0 g/mol + 11 x 16.0 g/mol

= 342 g/mol

remember sucrose is nothing but a table sugar

mass = moles x gram formula of the mass

= 0.18 mol x 342 g/mol

= 61.56 g

4.
