Question

how to balance this equation ____C2H6(g)+____O2(g)→____CO2(g)+____H2O(g)

how to balance this equation ____C2H6(g)+____O2(g)→____CO2(g)+____H2O(g)

Homework Answers

Answer #1

Solution :-

To balance the equation we need to balance all the atoms on oppsite sides of the reaction so we need to use the proper coefficients so that each element atoms get balanced

C2H6(g)+____O2(g)→____CO2(g)+____H2O(g)          unbalanced equation

to balance the equation we need to use 2 C2H6 , then we have to use 7 O2 to balance oxygens

it gives 4 CO2 and 6 H2O

So the balanced reaction equation is as follows

2 C2H6 (g)+ 7 O2 (g)------ > 4 CO2 (g)+ 6 H2O(g)
