How many amperes are required to deposit 0.103 grams of manganese metal in 273 seconds, from a solution that contains Mn2+ ions?
Answer in amperes (A)
Since from balanced equation it can be seen that to deposit 1 molecule of Mn we are required to transfer 2 electron to to deposit 1 mole i.e. equal to the molar mass of Mn ,we are required to transfer 2 mole of electrons i.e. 2 faraday charge . That's why I have used that relation .
