How is a stable community identified?

Answer #1

Stable Community means ability of a community to do something difficult or defy change or return from change. Stable community is identified by resiliency and its resistance. Resiliency is about the community's ability to return back to pre-disturbance condition after a any type of killing, damaging or displacement of species that results into to new species establlishing themselves. Under resiliency, there is elasticity, which is how fast it can return to pre disturbance conditions; and also, amplitude which is how much disturbance it can take. As for resistance, it is the ability to withstand change in the community. This is how a stable community can be identified.
