Objectives of animal breeding are as follows:

1] To improve growth rate of animals.

2] To increase the production and quality of the animal produce such as milk, meat, eggs, wool, etc.

3] To improve the resistance of animals to various diseases.

4] To increase productive life of animals.

5] To increase reproduction rate of animals.
