This has to be an experimental exercise as we have no
information about the solubility constant of ammonium sulphate
salt.
According to Dawson et al. (1986); several experiments were
performed to dissolve ammonium suphate in water at zero degree
celsius and it was observed that the amount of ammonium sulphate
required to go from 0% saturation to 35% saturation at this
temperature is : 19.7 grams per 100 mL which means, we require
98.5 grams of ammonium suphate for 35% saturation
of a 500mL solution..
Similarly the amount of ammonium sulphate required to go from 0% saturation to 55% saturation at this temperature is : 33.1 grams per 100 mL which means, we require 165.5 grams of ammonium suphate for 55% saturation of a 500mL solution.
