Why are most genetics flaws in humans inherited as recessive traits?
If the genetic flaws are dominant then the population that is dominant genotype and reach the reproductive active age would be less. This dominant genetic flaws are lethal in most populations and hence they cannot get transmitted to the next generation. Hence dominant alleles of genetic flaws cannot get inherited as they get rejected by natural selection. But if these genetic flaws are in recessive mode, then they can be transmitted from one generation to another by carriers i.e. the individuals which have heterozygous genetic flaw. Hence most of the genetic flaws in humans are inherited in a recessive manner.
