Ecology:
What is the difference between chemicals that originate in the atmosphere and those that originate in rock?
Early atmosphere probably was different in composition , contain only hydrogen and helium gases. So chemical are in gaseous form that originated in atmosphere. Then on the earth other gases originated such as carbondioxide, sulpher dioxide, sulpher, chloride and water vapour. Later free oxygen produced through photochemical dissociation of water or by photosynthesis.
Rock are composed of grain of minerals, which are homogenous mixture of solid formed from a chemical compound arranged in a orderly manner. These minerals held together by chemical bonds. For example rock have minerals like silica that made up of silicon Si and oxygen .
Chemical atmosphere. Chemical rock
1) gase form. Solid form
2) simple. Complex
3) gases such as Hydrogen, oxygen. Minerals
