Answer #1

Let, A and B be two events.

Then occurance of two events can be defined as,

(1) A AND B, means

Here, two events A and B both occurs simultaneously.

(2) A OR B, means

Here, atleast one of the event occur

Here, the example is rolling die.

Let A represent Even number.

Let B represent Odd number.

"rolling an Even AND an Odd", means A AND B

simultaneously occurance of A AND B

i.e, we get Even and Odd number simultaneously.

"rolling an Even OR an Odd" means A OR B means
