Homework Answers

Answer #1

The thickness of the walls of the left ventricle relatively thick when compared to the right ventricle. Because the right ventricle have to pump the blood to nearby lungs where as the left ventricle have to pump the blood to all the body parts. As the right ventricle have to pump the blood to nearby lungs, it pumps with less pressure hence the right ventricle walls are relatively thin where as the left ventricle have to pump the blood to all bodyparts, it pumps with high pressure hence the left ventricle walls are relatively thick.
