Well, there are two types of decision making types that happens practically, one is centralised and the other one is decentralised,

I shall take the example if my own company where I am working, my boss is the sole decision maker and we are all bound to follow his decisions, this is a centralised kind of decision making.

Example, whenever a new project comes he will accept the project without any discussion with the team whether there will be sufficient allocation of time for completing the project and we are all bound to accept his decision and act accordingly.
