a) Anemia

b) Ulcers

c) Cancer

d) Pulmonary edema

e) Hemophilia

Answer: b) Ulcers

Explanation: Prilosec also known as omeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor. Prilosec is used to treat gastric ulcers, duodenal ulcers and gastroesophageal reflux disease. Prilosec help to block gastric parietal cells from producing acid in the stomach. It inhibits acid secretion by blocking the H+/K+-ATPase system found in gastric parietal cells. When given Prilosec it prevents too much acid from being released, therefore causing less harm to the tissue lining esophagus, stomach, and intestines.
