What might easily explain why so many receptor kinases become active if expressed at very high levels (even in the absence of ligand) ?

As a result of signaling molecules, through its activation of the receptor tyrosine kinases, activate all the signaling molecules. This is because there is inherent activation of the inherent activity of the receptor. As signaling molecules would be binding to the receptor tyrosine kinases. At low concentrations of signals, all of the locally released proteins get activated. These neighbouring proteins get associate with one another by cross phosphorylation. As a result of these internal signals, all the signals get activated.
