Genetic discrimination is the practice of treating people differently by the insurance company or employer of the company because they have some genetic mutation that leads to some inherited disease or they have a family history of some specific health problems.This makes people vulnerable to losing jobs or not getting proper compensations from health insurance companies.

The genetic constituent of each of us is different and is definitely not in our hands to be manipulated.Some of us are more prone to some diseases and some of us are completely resistant to them.Facing discrimination based on something like this is an issue because when you are more prone to certain health conditions the cost of medication is definitely more and that makes insurance companies biased towards such individuals.
