If my question for a research project is "does sleep deprivation increase tantrums in toddlers during their playtime?"what would be my construct and the operational definition

Homework Answers

Answer #1

The operational definition is way of measuing external behaviour and they suppport the hypothetical constructs. In this case, the operation definition should be the length of time for which the toddlers sleep in total before their playtime. That means for how long the toddlers sleep in order to have or not have tantrums.

The construct definition is something that is an unseen attribute of the experiment. It is a describing behaviour of a particular format that is mostly internal and is supported by the operational definition. In this case, the construct is aggression or tantrumic behaviour of the toddler
