Create a reflex -response loop for a muscle that can be used while dancing. Include stimulus, receptor, afferent pathway, integrating car, efferent pathway, efferent target, predicted response.
Dancing requires coordination of the spinal reflexes as well as
balance and coordination.
For eg : while dancing when the sole of foot touches the ground
(stimulus), the cutaneous receptors (receptors) sensitive to touch
sends sensory information to the spinal cord (integrating centre)
through sensory nerves of foot (afferent pathway). The spinal cord
elicits a response in response to stimulus through stimulation of
tibial nerve (S1, S2) which acts as the efferent pathway and
results in contraction of gastrocnemeus and soleus muscle (efferent
target) to produce plantar flexion (response).
