According to Landsteiner's law Ifa agglutinogen (antigen)is absent in the red cells of a blood, the corresponding agglutinin (antibody)must be present in the plasma
If person's blood group is AB+ is means it has all the three antigens A, B, and D, hence the corresponding Anti A, Anti B and Anti D antibody will be absent in plasma.
In cross matching donors RBC antigen is matched with recipients plasma, hence due to absence of antibodies in the plasma of AB+ person it can receive any blood group.
