Answer : Hormones are non nutrient chemical substances that is secreted by the endocrine glands and directly released into the blood which is mainly responsible for maintaining different type of physiological system of our body .

-pineal gland secretes the hormone melatonin, a hormone produced at night and related to the regulation wakefulness-sleep cycle.

-Thyroid gland secrete Thyroxine and parathyroid hormone

-Pancreases secrete Insulin and Glucagon that maintain glucose levels in the body respectively.
