SOLUTION:

Research topic is Euthanasiaas . It is the practice of intentionally ending a life to relieve pain and suffering (painless killing , physician assisted suicide ) done at the request of patient or with their consent .

Sampling method is a process of selecting units or samples /people from a population to conduct the study on these samples and to generalise the results of the research back to the population from which they were choosen .

In this research I am using one of the probability sampling method - simple random sampling in which I have taken the population of extremely sick patients like coma , multiorgan dysfunction etc who have requested for mercy killing .

The reason to choose this method is it provides equal chances to the samples of getting selected in the study and also there is no bias in this methods ,samples are selected by random sampling . Each and every patient in the population will be given a number and randomly a number will be choosen by the respective authority to select the sample .

It will be appropriate for the research proposal because after bearing so much pain due medications and procedures where you are not able to eat what you like , you can't do anything independently , day by day increasing pain and getting sick makes the patient feel at some certain time that death is better than lieing like this making others life aslo hectic and discomfortable . There is a race for everything in this world same for Euthanasiaas . So, for a justified selection of sample we do a random sampling .

The sample size of the study is the sub population to be studied to make an inference to the reference population.

Larger the sample size the more accurate the findings from the study . Because of time constraint and budget a representative sample of n = 50 is used in the study .

Moen has instituted a new manufacturing process for assembling a component. Using the old process, the average assembly time was 4.25 minutes per component. After the new process was in place for 30 days, the quality control engineer took a random sample of fourteen components and noted the time it took to assemble each component. Based on the sample data, the average assembly time was 4.38 minutes, with a standard deviation of .16 minutes. Using a significance level of .02,...
