Covid 19 pandemic is an ongoing infectious disease in the world. Various preventive measures are entertained to stop the spread of the infection. One of those is the usage of face mask. There are many types of masks available in the market. Two of them are surgical mask and respirator mask.

To compare the efficiency of these two kinds of masks in preventing the infection the best suitable study is randomised controlled trial. In this two groups can be selected and one group is given with surgical mask and other group is given with respirator mask. After a period of time (2 weeks) take the nasopharyngeal swab of both group for RT PCR for corona virus .Record the positive results and categorize them as surgical mask wearers and respirator mask wearers. Compare the results and determine the effectiveness of the both by mask with less number of positive results.
