The main difference between a projective and objective psychometric test is that just in case of projective tests, the stimuli given to the respondent is imprecise and unstructured whereas in objective tests comprise of queries and statements with a hard and fast set of responses.
Objective: clear and unambiguous questions, stimuli, or techniques for measuring personality traits.
Projective: ambiguous or unclear stimuli which the test taker is asked to interpret or impost meaning upon.
