Topic: Play in the Lives of Adults:
As you develop yourself as a teacher, you will become more and more aware of the importance of play in your life, along with the lives of the children you work with. It's important to stay in touch with the part of yourself that understands playfulness! In a paragraph form, share your thoughts on the following: Think of an early childhood memory of a play experience. Did you have a favorite game, a special place, such as an attic or a tree house in your neighbor's yard? Share your play experience. Then respond to the play-experiences shared by others. How will these play memories help you in your teaching?
Yes, playing in the childhood duration or later is an essential part of life. It makes us a better person in many ways which can not be directly seen but influence our lives in one way or the other.
I remember playing few insane games with the neibourhood friends and my siblings, that part inculcated the habit of taking everyone with me , thinking about everone you have in life, learning with fun, actually enjoing whatever I am doing, being carefree, at the same time being mature, appreciating others, competing with others, if someone is loosing, motivating them to play again and learn , only winning is not the sole objective of any game, life is an experiance like those games, sometimes you won, sometimes you lose, but that doesn't nean that you will stop playing or you will lose the hope to win, what matters is your courrage, will power and determination to face anything that comes along.
Playing makes us stronger physically, mentally, psychologically as well as makes us a better person.
Life is a game, it is filled up so many ups and downs, what you have to do is stand still and be courageous to face everything and start all over again with a positive attitude and who knows this time you may win and come up with flying colors. This whole experience on a small scale comes when we start playing in the very childhood.
So, playing games teaches you a lot of things, so, let's play!
