Is the 4th Amendment outdated? As a society, should we become more of a police state or should we allow greater freedom?
The Fourth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution provides that the right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized" is not outdated; as a society, we should be allowed greater freedom so that we can feel free and pursue our happiness as a fundamental right mentioned in the Declaration of Independence. Thus we will be confident and contribute more towards the growth and the development of our nation.
