Answer #1

Lund is the author of the famous book Death and Consciousness. It tends to cater to the philosophy of life and attempts to answer various abstract questions. Experiences with ghosts and apparitions is something that has been of great interest to psychologists, especially parapsychologists. The literal meaning of the word is something that is outside of the sensory experiences. Many types have been well documented such as crisis apparitions, post-mortem apparitions, deathbed visions, illness, threat of death, etc. Many patients on their death bed for instance visualize 'take-away' figures.
