The relation between Twelee-Dum and Tweele-Dee, belongs to dream status and the time when dreams occurs.

Rene Descartes, dream argument suggests that people do not aware about dreaming and relation between dreams and behaviour. In through the looking glass, Tweeledum and Tweeledee, show Alice the sleeping red king and tell her that she is the merely the part of his dream.

Both are describing the condition of sleep and awaking, the lucid dreaming is a mid of sleep and awaking. The dreaming argument plays prominently in Descartes version of skepticism where he urges that every thought could be false because it could be all the result of dream.
