Rene Descartes argues that human beings are imperfect, so they themselves couldn’t have created them, instead there should be a perfect being, God would have created all. So, Descartes explains the fact that being born as imperfect being, one should accept that a far more superior and perfect being is in action in the Universe. It’s because we are able to think ideas, he says that something should have created us all. I think therefore I am is one of the most famous lines of Descartes where he acknowledge the existence of himself but he doubts whether he who created himself. Thus he ends his argument for God’s existence is that the only thing perfect enough to cause his idea of a perfect being is a perfect being.
