Health and safety are one of the most important topics when thinking of people working in a workplace. This is generally considered with respect to the work place. This is important since safety forms an important part of maintaining health of a person. Safety does not only play role in the work place, but also also plays role in homes or while traveling. At present, occupational health systems and occupational health safety is considered to be a very important aspect. This is because, after homes, the office or work place is the area where a person spends most of his time. As a result, workplace safety is considered important.

Health would be defined as the condition in which there would be complete, mental or physical well being of a person, along with the individual not have any disease or infirmity. In order to maintain a complete well being, safety is important. Also, health could be defined as the condition in which there would be promotion of well being of a person such that they would be kept from accidental harms.

In order to minimise harms, the most important aspect is safety. Some of the occupational hazards include emotional disturbances, stress, accidents. It is important that every person be protected from physical harm or mental harm. Every person should be away from the dusk factoes that affect a person in some or the other manner. People st work may be exposed to biological or chemical hazards.

People need to prevent themselves from falls or getting exposed to chemicals or cuts or harmful machines.
