Is it false that in the west, the two world wars generally hindered women from attaining political and economic equality? Explain?
The two world wars in the west gave the women chance to enter into the workforce and contribute to their countries. This made them aware of their situations that led to their political awakening and demand for their political rights and as a result they achieved it. The unequal treatment in the workplace and workforce motivated them to strive for it and helped them to gain equality to some extent. Thus, both the world wars have helped women to be politically and economically strong, than making them weak.
