With time series design, the same subjects behavior is measured on multiple occasions across a given time period.

One such example could be, for instance, measuring the weight loss/gain of an individual suffering from anorexia nervosa. This would aid in measuring the weight loss with respect to the prior information of the subject obtained before, and help in subsequent therapies and intervention plans.
