According to Aristotle, a human needs to have purpose in life. He is of the opinion that there is a supreme good for us, there is a best way to live life. That means, living to our potential the best. There has to be a goal in life, for example, a student's goal is to secure good marks. He says that, animals too enjoy amusement and pleasure, but when it comes to happiness, it's about leading a life which has meaning. It is using our knowledge, energy to the topmost of our capacity.
Happiness is more about how we behave, how we think and feel, our understanding about self and others.
