What is a theory? Can a theory be proven true? Why or why not? Be specific... Criminological theory!

Criminological theory is identified as being a formulation that would help the criminologists for obtaining criminal justice as well as for crime understating. Theories are formulated such that the making of the law, or it breaking, could be covered properly, for providing an explanation for deviant behaviors as well as criminal acitivites. It could also be used for predicting the patterns of deviance.

Theories can be proven by the support of evidences. Theories are only formulated on the basis of certain observations that a person is making, and that on looking for further patterns or evidences, a theory can concretely established.
