The “instincts”- what are they called and what they encourage people to do?

Instincts are innate and natural behaviour or response any living organism brings out to different stimuli. It's very natural and spontaneous, so that one need not consciously bring it to surface. It works very similar to the autonomous nervous system that responds to stimuli without consciously recalled. It also explains a stage before learning to do something, so it is more biological and inbuilt.

It encourages people to adopt to the social behaviours that are present in one's culture and it also helps one survive in a hostile environment. It brings timely solutions to regular problems in life. We do them without even knowing about them.
