Describe the subconscious process, nonconscious processes, and mindlessness.
Subconscious process: mental processes occurring outside of conscious awareness but which are accessible to consciousness when necessary. its purpose is to allow us to perform multiple tasks at the same time by keeping activities with minimal cognitive load as the background task and therefore inn the subconscious.
Non-conscious process refers to the mental processes that occur
outside of our awareness and are not available to conscious
awarenes such as our prejudices or unknown biases which influence
our decisions and evaluation of other people.
Mindlessness is the term for a state of mental inflexibility,
inertia in which an individual remains oblivious to the present
context. While Mindlessness is a conscious process , thinking is
barely active and the person may act out of habit without analyzing
what or why she or he was doing a particular task in a given
way.
