  • Individual-level factors such as team members’ personality traits, strengths, weaknesses, preferences, and dislikes.
  • Team-level factors such as team resources, size of the team, team cohesiveness, and how much time the team spends together.
  • Environmental factors such as how the team works with other teams, and whether the team is part of an organization.

The knowledge of this information is extremely useful for psychologists who aim to increase team productivity and efficiency. It allows them to analyse factors that maybe hindering team performance and address them accordingly.
