Answer #1

The Released discusses about how the mentally ill patients who go back to the society from the prisons return back to the prisons in no time. It brings out the most fundamental problems of not only the prison system but the entire society that is individualistic and materialistic. This would mean that the mentally ill that are released from the prisons are not supported socially, financially or medically thus, they remain the same with their mental disorder which force them to commit crimes and brings them back to the prison. Only when this vulnerable population is attended and treated either the first time they get into the prisons or immediately after released, they would feel valued and accepted which would change them for better.
