  • Parallel processing: In parallel processing, several objects can be processed during visual search.This is unconscious processing in nature.The visual processing is based on the combined effect of color,motion,depth and form.
  • Serial Processing: Here, single object is processed and is consciously done.This can be sequential and stage wise depicted.
  • The main difference is the unconscious and conscious perspective,sequential and collective information.
  • Neurons follow parallel processing in the beginning of process, however tend to go with serial processing.
