Answer #1

Non-shared environmental influences are those factors of environment that causes difference in the behavior siblings who share the same household, family and socio-economic backgrounds. Non-shared environmental influences include that particular type of relationship that each of the sibling of the same family share with parents or the particular bonding with parents, this influences the behavior and creates individual difference. It also includes the access to different ways of life of siblings in the same family, as the siblings may be sent to different educational institutions, have different teachers etc. This environmental influence also includes the birth order of each sibling in the family. All these non-shared environmental influences play their part in creating individual differences among the siblings who share many things in common.
