Anger, in itself, is an emotion characterized by antagonism and agitation toward someone or something that one feels has deliberately done one wrong. The experience of anger very subjective and varies widely in terms of its frequency, intensity and duration. Anger is not always expressed as it maybe experienced internally without any apparent observable effects. When it is expressed overtly, other individuals become aware that one is experiencing anger.

Anger is a normal human emotion and can be conducive to functioning at certain instances as well. However, when it gets out of control it can become destructive, leading to serious problems at work and in personal relationships. It can undermine a person's quality of life. Anger also triggers an increase in heart rate, blood pressure, and adrenaline levels.
