Discuss the similarities, differences, benefits, and problems with the Bohr and Thomson atomic models. Your response should have about 10 sentences at least.
*Similarities: Atoms is neutral charged structure, region of electrons.
*Difference:
Thomson's model: electron is embedded in positive charged sphere like plum pudding. He nothing said about nucleus. Electrons is at rest.
Boar's Model: Electrons move in stationery orbits, without any radiation of energy.
* Benefits: JJ Thomson discovers first, electrons which gives all scientists to develop John dalton old theory of atomic structure.
Bohr gives idea of stationery orbits to support stability of atom.
* Problems
Thomson model: He doesn't given any explanation of nucleus
Bohrs Model: It works very well with Single electron atom hydrogen and hydrogen like atom but does not work for atom having multiple electrons.
