My ability to successfully negotiate with employees will be drastically influenced and impacted by the concerns or issues that either parties have in trusting me after releasing of a popular and recognised employee which resulted in employee's fear, uncertainty, lack of loyalty and inability to believe to the terms of negotiation and my words. It is important to clear the doubts in the minds of employees to ensure that employees believe on me and negotiation process goes on smoothly with mutual agreement and trust
Yes it is possible as the negotiation process itself will help me in regaining the trust and loyalty of employees back through using various tactics which can help to eliminate such fear and uncertainty among them through establishing transparency, stong communication and understanding about the actions and decisions taken be me to remove their doubts, confusions and unnecessary fear. I will approach each employee individually first to respond to their queries band concerns and to adjust my tone, behavior and attitude as per their particular personality type, then having a group conversation will work to develop mutual trust and support from them, which would help to intervene between their unwanted employee personality.
The three unwanted employ personality will include an employee with short temper which can prevent developing understanding between him and the other person The employee with criticising nature, finding flaws in every decision and action taken, and the employee with serious trust issues making it difficult to believe any of the things which are being said.
The conflict strategy to address these three unwanted personalities of employees will include ; developing a interaction session for these employees where each employee will share his or her perspectives, opinions and beliefs regarding different things facilitating the understanding among each other and elimination of any wrong perception, stereotypes etc. The interaction session will focus on discussing queries, doubts issues and concerns that employees have regarding certain subjects which will be addressed duty.. The negotiation strategy will involve using tactics such as motivational power, influencing ability and convincing skills to develop a good perception in the minds of employees. The negotiator should develop transparency and truthfulness among employees to gain their trust and to support his actions with reasonable facts and reasonable justifications.
