In every workplace ethics should be followed because without following the ethics conflicts or problems can be observed. Ethical behavior had more importance in the workplace. For example if the person was performing well in his job and always strive to gain benefits for the organization but he does not follow ethics. At the same time there was another person who always follows the ethics and does not do any mistakes regarding his work. Organization gave the reward to the person who always follows the ethics because he never does mistakes which will create harm to organization. It was important to have the strong working relationship with the co workers by following the ethics.

Every person in the organization should follow some policies which are intended by the organizational management because policies communicate the values and goals which are important to follow by the employees. Policies in the workplace clearly mention operating procedure in the workplace. In our organization there are some policies which are important to follow by the employees because it clearly explains us how to work and behave in the workplace.

  • Employee in the organization should maintain the good conduct and also the guidelines for maintaining the employee behavior like maintaining the dress code, harassment policies and the usage of the company belonging like internet, computer etc.
  • Equal opportunity policy that which describe there will be no unfair treatment in the organization. Gender inequalities, poverty inequalities will not be followed.
  • Attendance and time off policies that which describes every employee should attend the office according to the time. Without any kind of intimation leaves will not be sanctioned.
  • Substance abuse policy which describes the usage of drugs, alcohol and tobacco in the premises or working hours of the organization. If these kinds of things were being carried out certain test would be conducted to the employee.

These are some of the policies which are being carried out in our workplace and every person belongs to our organization should follow this policies. If in any certain situation if he/she cross the policies some of the legal proceedings will be carried out like issuing the bad conduct certificate, fines and in some cases person will be poisoned. If there were no certain policies in the organization employees will work according to their wish and they will also not give respect for their higher management. During the issuing of the offer letter, sheet that which consists of all these policies must be read and signed by the candidate
