Answer #1

It is true that the government has come up with stimulus packages over $3 trillion to deliver direct cash to people in their accounts. Besides, the government did its efforts to organize resources to fight against COVID-19 pandemic and other institutions such as Fed also get involved to minimize the impact of COVID-19 pandemic upon the economy. But, these initiatives are not enough to showcase that government has put forward a good or enough leadership skills. It is due to the reason that when COVID-19 broke out in the country of China and it was Dec. 2019, then no country including USA took it precious and brushed aside as a joke. It showed the negligent behavior of the government at its extreme and it led to the lapse of precious 3 months of preparation, but nothing happened. It costed USA a huge number of deaths that could be prevented id preventive measures could be taken since January 2020. Even in the month of March, 2020, Mr. Trump was visiting India to woo Indian audience whose relatives live in the USA so that he could garner some support during the election 2020. It is another example of negligence that cost too much to the people of the USA. It showed that the government did not do what it should do in the leadership and it made the government to be short on it.
