1. Job Analysis
- It is a process of obtaining information about various aspects
of jobs
- Job analysis involves two dimensions:
- Job description -It indicates the duties, responsibilities and
working condition of work
- Job specification - indicates necessary skills,
knowledge and abilities required to perform the job
2. Job Rating
- It is a process of using methods to study job descriptions and
specifications to assign worth for each job.
- It can be through ranking, point rating factor comparison
etc.
3. Money Allocation
- After rating the worthiness of each job, a pay structure is
determined and the money for each job is allocated
- paying rewards for each job according to its worth
4. Job Classification
- It is the categorization of jobs according to their pay
scale.
