Answer #1

The company should definitely change their product strategy and the quality of the product they are producing is deteriorating. The company's innovative ability has become stagnant and they have been creating a similar type of problems with minor modification for their new products. Whereas the competitors are giving a lot of importance to the product innovation and coming up with products with new features that have the ability to attract more customers. Apple is depending on the brand name and loyal customer base they have created for their sales and that cannot last long. The recent iPhone 8 and iPhone X were disasters with only loyal customers going for them. For the price tag they have, the company is failing to make the product worth it.Many Chinese smartphone and laptop brands are coming up with brands with better features at a very cheap price. They are also beating the company with their pricing strategy. Apple needs to come up with as new as an iPhone when there were no smartphones in the market. They need to lead the revolution once again and make it happen for the company. They have been losing a lot of their customers to their competitors and it is hurting their sales all over the world. The customers across the globe have become more demanding and they want to invest money in the products that are really worth it. So Apple's way of product engineering and strategy will not work for a long time. They will need to up their engineering game in order to become sustainable and also to save their existing loyal customers. Companies like Samsung, Lenovo, and Xiaomi are able to acquire more customers because they have something to offer to every segment of the market. Apple tries to be a premium product but they are neglecting the fact that even other companies are creating excellent premium products. So the only way to win this battle is by changing the product strategy and offering something innovative and good to all the segments of the market.
